Further Millions for Swiss Crypto Trading Platform

Wyden announced on Wednesday that it has successfully closed a Series B financing round, raising 14.5 million Swiss francs.

The transaction was accompanied by the Paris-based fintech investment company Truffle Capital. In addition to the previous investor C3 Venture Capital, new investors Postfinance, SBI-Sygnum-Azimut Digital Asset Opportunity Fund and FiveT Fintech are also participating.

Wyden is one of the leading technology providers for institutional trading in digital assets. The Wyden platform covers the entire trading cycle and supports the seamless integration of custody, core banking and portfolio management systems as well as full automation, thus optimizing digital asset trading.

Wyden is headquartered in Zurich, operates several product centers in Poland and has offices in Singapore and New York.

Tapping into New Markets

The company intends to use the new funds to tap into new markets and continue its expansion with banks, brokers and stock exchanges, according to the press release. The focus will be on the EU, Switzerland, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, Singapore, Hong Kong and Brazil.

Over the next year, the company plans to connect up to 20 more banks, brokers and exchanges to the Wyden ecosystem. To support this growth, the team will expand to 100 employees, with the majority of new hires focused on the development centers in Poland.
