Lugano-Based Bank Grows in Zurich
Credinvest Bank’s Zurich branch, led by Marcel Bartholdi (pictured below), has moved to new offices in Zurich's city center. Bartholdi, Head of the Zurich branch now on Talacker 35, is a long-standing employee at Credinvest and has over 30 years of experience in private banking and portfolio management.
Credinvest operates across two core divisions: Private Banking, catering to high-net-worth individuals and families, and Institutional Banking.

Offering Tailored Services Across Key Sectors
Both divisions' clients benefit from direct access to the bank’s trading desk and various trading platforms, which offer a wide array of services tailored for entrepreneurs, independent asset managers, trustees, family offices, banks, brokers, and investment funds.
The institutional team specializes in issuing and structuring actively managed certificates (AMCs). Credinvest was the first financial institution in Switzerland to implement a securitization system for any asset class. Additionally, the bank operates as a paying agent (servicing both funds and certificates), and provides prime brokerage solutions and fund management services, covering both UCITS and non-UCITS funds.
Reshaped Vision and Leadership
Credinvest has undergone a comprehensive reorganization in recent years, reshaping its shareholder structure, board of directors, executive management, and corporate identity. The board was reinforced by adding four new members under the leadership of the majority shareholder Andrea De Vido.
As new chairman, De Vido has a clear vision for the bank: to invest in innovative and dynamic business models. To support this mission, the executive team has been rejuvenated, expanded, and restructured from two to four members, now comprising:
- Alex Oberholzer, CEO, an experienced manager with extensive international expertise in trading, structured product distribution, and institutional client relations.
- Massimo Bertini-Morini, Chief Operating Officer (COO), a long-serving employee and the «brain» behind the bank’s proprietary IT system.
- Christophe Silietti, Head of Financial Services, Trading, and Treasury, is another long-standing team member who also oversees back-office operations.
- Daniel Jaeger, General Counsel, responsible for legal, compliance, and AML, working across both Lugano and Zurich locations.
Focus on Strategic Partnerships
«To remain competitive in delivering high-quality financial solutions, Credinvest is actively open to new partnerships and collaborations in both the Swiss and international markets,» Oberholzer said.
