Effective September, Allianz Global Investors (Allianz GI) has appointed Fidan Shtanaj (Image below) as a Consultant for Wholesale Client Relationships. He will be responsible for business development with distribution partners in German-speaking Switzerland and Liechtenstein, according to a statement released on Friday.

Shtanaj brings over 20 years of experience in the financial markets and joined Allianz GI from BNP Paribas Asset Management. He has previously held roles as a Business Developer and Relationship Manager at institutions such as Saxo Bank Switzerland, Janus Henderson, and Credit Suisse.

Additionally, since early 2024, Tsedi Zatul (Image below) has been serving as a Client Account Manager for existing wholesale clients. Like Shtanaj, Zatul also has around 20 years of professional experience, having previously been Head of Client Service at J. Safra Sarasin. Her career also includes roles at Zurich Insurance and UBS.

Both new client advisors will report to Mathias Peter, Head of Wholesale Switzerland at Allianz GI.
