Shell Brings LGT Capital Partners to The Hague

LGT Capital Partners is opening an office in The Hague, Netherlands, to advise Shell Asset Management Company (SAMCo) on its pension funds, it said in an emailed statement Wednesday. 

The Pfaeffikon-based investment firm is hiring six investment professionals in The Hague from SAMCo to advise on the energy company’s private equity and infrastructure assets.

«Thanks to our approach as a principal investor, we believe we are well-positioned to accompany SAMCo and the Shell pension funds in achieving their investment objectives,» LGT Capital Partner's CEO Roberto Paganoni added in the statement.

The new office is LGT Capital Partners' third addition over the past months, following recent openings in San Francisco and LuxembourgThe alternative investment specialist has over $85 billion in assets under management and employs 700 people internationally, according to its website.
