Partners Group Posts Strong Half Year Results

Partners Group continued to attract new money in the first half of 2022 and was able to increase its assets under management slightly, it said in its earnings statement Friday.

Capital commitments from clients increased to $13 billion, up by $1 billion, in the first half of 2022. This helped drive assets under management (AuM) to $131 billion up from $127 billion at the end of 2021, it said.

Postponed Fees

Due to the uncertainty in the markets, the investment company decided against selling some maturer companies in its portfolio, prefering to hold onto these investments until a later date.

This decision has led to a less performance fees accruals for the first two quarters, which are now expected to account for 5 to 10 percent of the company's total revenues in the first half of 2022, rather than the usual share of 20 to 30 percent, it said.
