Lombard Odier Investment Managers is hiring Lorenzo Bernasconi as head of climate and environmental solutions, effective October 1, according to a statement Wednesday.

The newly-created role supports the asset manager's holistic approach to climate transition objectives across its investment offering, including private markets, the statement says.

Bernasconi who, according to his LinkedIn profile worked as an analyst at UBS covering technology, media and telecom, recently served as managing director of innovative finance at The Rockefeller Foundation in New York. In this role he mobilized capital towards the United Nations’ sustainable development goals, the statement says.
