UBS Asia Banker Defects
The British-listed lender is hiring Raymond Ang as head of private and priority banking, it said in an emailed statement on Monday. Based in Singapore, Ang is a nine-year veteran of UBS' wealth management arm, where he is currently head of China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, international Japan, and Indonesia.
The role hands him responsible for Standard Chartered's affluent clients, effective sometime later this year. Ang worked for Carlyle and DBS before joining UBS in 2012.
