Swiss banks are ready to confront the challenges that face the economy of Switzerland and take responsibility as providers of loans, said the Swiss Bankers Association (SBA) in a statement on its website (in German). SBA launched an information platform to keep business and the general public informed about the steps undertaken by the banking industry:

The tool is providing answers to the main questions arising from the developments in connection with the coronavirus. One such position paper available on the platform is a statement by the association about the monetary policy assessment of the Swiss National Bank published on Thursday.

The platform also shows where people concerned by the crisis can get answers in relation to loans and support measures granted by the banking industry.
